BW new header MAR11 copy

USA, Zinfandel, Red Blend, Ravenswood, Vintner’s Blend, California, 2009

Past vintages were Zinfandel red bends with Petite Sirah, Carignane, etc. I can’t find the varietal composition on this one after a reasonable internet search.

Note: Let breathe at least a hour before enjoying.

N/ Blackcherries. Fat, stewed oaks with white pepper touches. Flint. Game. Candied soil.

T/ Medium-full to full mouthfeel.  Spiced blackcherry and sour cherry. Spicey wood work. Big acid for the price point and varietal. Nicely balanced with the fruit shipment.

These “Vintner’s Blend’s” from Ravenswood continue to have my Q2PR attention.
