From the winery…

“Nestled above the snow capped mountains of Central Otago on the Bendigo Loop Road is the small Pinot Noir Vineyard “Someone’s Darling.” The climate and unique terroir combined make this region one of the best for producing premium Pinot Noir. Loveblock is charged with creating the best wine to express this extraordinary place with its unique aspect.

Length/Type of Fermentation: The grapes were cooled for a pre-fermentation cold soak of five days, then warmed and inoculated. Hand plunged twice each day and pressed at dryness, the grapes then underwent fermentation.

Length/Type of Aging: 11 months with older oak to retain the pure intensity of the fruit.”
