From the winery…

“The Amado Sur name is a riff on the Spanish for “Southern Love” and alludes to the special affinity between Malbec wine grapes and the unique growing conditions found in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. With this wine, Trivento has created a distinctly South American blend of Malbec rounded out by smaller amounts of Bonarda and Syrah.

With the release of Amado Sur Malbec, Trivento became one of the first Argentine wineries to experiment in a significant way with blends. That other producers in Mendoza then also started to experiment with blends is a testament to the popular success enjoyed by Trivento’s Amado Sur wines.”
