Note: decant 2 hours for best effect. A slight reduction needs to waft off.

N/ Smoked black cherry. Smoldering campfire. Acidic, crushed river rocks. A reduction sauce made from steeped violets. Earthy beets. Incense.

T/ Medium-full mouthfeel. Smoked black cherries and light chocolate. Lightly smoked black earth and burlap juice.

Also of note…. this is Catena’s most affordable Malbec… their higher end offerings are the stuff of legend.
